The June 21, 2020 solar eclipse is a key time to become aware and open our eyes to what blinds us: that belief that we should be moving in a direction that we believe in. Let’s take advantage of the Solstice to throw our old beliefs into the fire of Saint-Jean celebration and jump happily over them!
The solar eclipse of June 21, 2020 is very strong or precise, you might say. The alignment Earth-Moon Sun on the same plane, which produces the eclipses, is very precise, which generates a complete shadow, which crosses frankly right through the surface of the Earth.
In Western Europe, we will perceive little or no shadow of the Moon from the solar eclipse of June 21, 2020. It will pass more to the South in Africa and more to the East, to the Middle East, to India in the Himalayas where it will reach its maximum intensity, then go to China. This Wikipedia animation shows us the path of the moon’s shadow on Earth.
I have read things that feed a form of romantic spiritual poetry around this solar eclipse of June 21, 2020. For example, the Moon would eclipse Venus. The Moon will be more than 25 ° from Venus at the time of the eclipse; it will not mask it, not even by a hair. Let us exercise our discernment collectively.
So what is remarkable in this solar eclipse of June 21, 2020?
– First, as we have just seen, it is powerful, which means that it represents an important moment in our perception of the energies of current collective developments.
– Then, it is concomitant with the summer solstice (and the music festival).
– It also marks a new change in stimulation of energy balances.
– Finally it is tonic; there is a strong tension around this eclipse.
We will try to describe and understand all of this.
- The intensity of this solar eclipse of June 21, 2020 comes from the fact that it aligns, to the nearest degree, our life energy and our emotional reactions, with our collective life path. In a way, it helps to shed light on our emotional reactions, which links to fears of disorientation.
This week, I talked a lot about it in consultations, it came up often. There was a need to understand and clarify the beginning of this new cycle of collective evolution so as not to be caught in the mirror of fantasies, of the need for direction and focus. This allowed me to come back to the subject often to refine the understanding with my personal experience and that of others.
If you have been following me for some time, you will probably remember that I rehashed for a while in the previous period, the idea that we should no longer hang on to old worm-eaten structures.
Now what we are going to tend to hold on to our old goals that have become obsolete. Deconfinement is a very interesting phenomenon to observe for this. We are talking about a world after that will not be like the one before. Yes, but how? If we pursue the same goals and restart the same machines, how will the next world be different?
I meet people, and I am one of them, who are wondering about things to succeed and who resist. Training, moving, life as a couple, creation… We are facing resistance in the pursuit of our objectives.
Here is a personal example. Usually I broadcast my training programs in May. This year, I was unable to pursue this goal. It stuck. After an accompanying session on the subject, I was asked to wait 15 days. I had the impression that it was not serious, either for me or for my students, to give these dates so late. I accept to drop the case, at a moment when I have just stopped working in company and so the courses I give are all the more important to me. The 15 days pass, I do my last sessions with the 3 groups of students, and I understand at the end of the 3 days how I have to redistribute the courses and workshops next year. Everything becomes obvious and exciting, with a program that I like and that I find much more mature and intelligent than what I did before. I will let you know later. For now, let’s focus on what happened. If I hadn’t given up on the idea of continuing what I was doing before by increasing it, going further, I would have caused myself to fail. By abandoning the idea of continuing in the same direction as before, by accepting the possibility of being completely disoriented, lost, without clear direction, I was able to be receptive to new ideas and new possibilities, which have emerged and given an exciting direction to what I do in those courses I give.
This eclipse, or the days that surround it, this period that we are going through, is conducive to this lighting.
If your goals are giving you a hard time, completely drop the direction you were following. Pause everything for a while. Hear what is going on around you, sincerely, and do not start moving again until you have the renewed enthusiasm.
If you pursue a goal without joy and without enthusiasm, it will be as effective as trying to make a hole in the concrete with a straw.
Around this solar eclipse of June 21, 2020, this is what we have to do. Let go of everything on our old goals. Let go of all the fears that we would be foolish or fickle if we did not follow a good (old) goal with hard-line determination.
- We are going to spend the summer solstice with this solar eclipse of June 21, 2020. This means that we are passing the point of the year 2020, of culmination of Light on the shadow (in the Northern hemisphere), with this possibility of raising awareness, of enlightening our fears and abandoning them now. The opportunity is exceptional. In 5 or 6 months, when the Light is going to decrease seriously and the winter harshness settles in a heavy social climate, it will be much more difficult to have an illumination on the falsity of our old determinations.
The passage of the Solstice is the one where we are the most enlightened of the year, (or the least according to our hemisphere), where we can be bathed in Light to make decisions filled with love and without fear. It is also the time of the joy of the fire of Saint-Jean when we ride the flames without fear.
The shadow of the moment is fear that sustains a determination to move painfully against all odds in the same direction. This obstinacy is the shadow that hides the fear of changing axes, of seeing everything else, of changing the plan, the program, and the software. We all have these shadows in us. What is not done in fluidity, joy and enthusiasm, may no longer have to be in this form.
- We are entering again, with the solar eclipse of June 21, 2020, in a cycle essentially “Yin” or linked to an energy of feminine principle majorly present.
There is still no stimulation of the “Yang” energies of the will. It will come back when we get closer to August. As for the other “Yang” energies that allow us to project ourselves through ideas, they are decreasing.
Momentum and action are weakly generated at this time. Getting into new things is still complicated. We can more easily have an intellectual stimulation which excites us and gives us back enthusiasm, but that remains a measured energy. In a way, it is very good to help us get through this period by letting go rather than by being obstinate. The most important mode of operation at the moment is that of stimulating links and reliance. It alone represents half of the stimulation of the energies of the solar system. We will more spontaneously seek to find ourselves, to connect, mainly in two ways: familiar or family ties, and universal or spiritual ties.
- Strangely, these reliance energies, which are most often harmonic with each other, are in tension for this solar eclipse of June 21, 2020. The desire to increase, to see big and larger, to widen, to conquer large spaces connecting with larger than oneself, is in conflict with the more modest dynamic of search for familiar bonds and protection between individuals. It’s as if we are afraid that familiar relationships will prevent us from thinking big or that they will be inconsistent and reduce us.
This same energy of search for grandeur, of desire to conquer or to own large connected spaces, is also in conflict with our need to pursue strong goals and objectives. This time, it’s as if we cannot reconcile concentration towards specific goals with the desire to expand our territory.
In fact, in order not to remain in conflict, we need to go through the understanding, or acceptance that what is important to us in this desire to think bigger, to expand our connection to the world, is first that of broadening the sense of humanism, spiritual connection and kindness. When we relate our goals to that, then the emptiness of some of our goals collapses, and we can find enthusiasm in seemingly insignificant relationships with our loved ones.
Little by little, we are coming out of confinement. Slowly … A person in consultation told me that he had seen a sentence circulating on Facebook such as: “When I see a person alone in his car with a mask, I wonder if he falls asleep alone with a condom? ” It made me laugh a lot. Isn’t there in this joke the expression of an excess of taking seriously in us? And when we look at ourselves internally, what are we taking too seriously at the moment? To our person? To our children? Our couple? It is this same energy to which we are hypersensitive now and which makes us want to seek a direction, which can sometimes turn into blind obedience in directives. Let’s be vigilant. Rediscover lightness, joie de vivre, curiosity and take off our blinders!
Very nice fortnight to all, and see you soon for the Full Moon in July 2020!
